Bishop Fenwick High School is proud to announce the addition of Rick Bruhn as the new head coach of the Falcon track and field program.
Rick comes to Fenwick after coaching cross country and track and field at Springboro junior high and high schools from 2017-2020. While at 'Boro, Bruhn led the Panthers to multiple Great Western Ohio Conference indiviual championships in both sports, and qualified dozens of athletes to the Dvision I and II state meets as well as New Balance and Nike Indoor and Outdoor National Championships.
Bruhn, an Archbishop Carroll High School graduate ('98), ran track and cross country at the University of Kentucky and Wright State University. While at Carroll, he was a member of several relay teams that set school records and individually held the 2000m Steeplechase school record for 20 years.
Rick also served as the the Archbishop Alter High School Track and Field Head Coach from 1999-2000. Bruhn works in banking and resides in Springboro with his two kids, Sophie and Will, and his 3 dogs.
Rick will be formally introduced as the Falcons new head coach on Wednesday, November 30 in the media center at 3:30 p.m. Welcome, Rick!
