Mike’s vision for the Fenwick Basketball Program is to use basketball to help the players lead extraordinary lives.  He and his staff will strive to provide the best and most enjoyable comprehensive experience possible while challenging players/teams to reach their potential on and off the floor.  The core values that will provide the foundation for the program will be: Grit, Energy, Toughness, Unified, and Prepared.  “GET-UP!”

Mike has been married to Robin (Sandlin) Holweger, a marketing education teacher at Fairmont High School, for 26 years and the couple has three children.  Drew, 23, is a 2020 graduate of Furman University and he is continuing his academic and athletic careers at Palm Beach Atlantic University studying Leadership.  Ashleigh, 21, is a recent graduate of Charleston Southern University earning a degree in Graphic Design/Art, and she will return to CSU in the fall to continue her volleyball career while getting a Master’s Degree in Coaching.  Luke, 12, currently a 6th grader at Springboro Intermediate, loves playing baseball, basketball, and golf.   Mike can’t wait to meet the players and to get started!
